Getting the Webster Arboretum Ready
Closing of our Dahlia Bed at Webster's Arboretum
I appreciate the call to help and that I will send out another request when it comes time to plant at the arboretum in the spring for all that couldn’t help dig them out this morning . A special thank you to Janet Zimmerman, Jennifer Timmer, Jeff and Ginger Davis and Bill Doolittle for their time and energy in digging up the 65 + dahlias this morning and storing them over the winter. And to all the hands that cared for the dahlias during the summer.
Thank you ,

Joe our Arboretum Custodian checking the Garden
It is hard to believe that these tiny plants will reach the top of these tall stakes. What we need now is some sun! The team put these in the ground on June 10 and will continue to weed and stake the dahlias as they grow.
Dahlia update, about July 5! Our dahlias are thriving, thanks to the team that is caring for them. The drip system was repaired and the garden was mulched. This looks to be our best year ever at the Webster Arboretum. Stop by and check it out sometime…
